Exclamation Help needed with ecotec into vr conversion!ASAP!

Ok this has been covered alot but I'm still confused I have a hole vs auto sedan at home for the motor and wat ever else I need off it to convert it into my manual vr wagon but I need to know a few things.
#1)what do I have to do to my fly wheel to make it work with the vs ecotec motor?
#2)can I use my computer to run the motor?(I know there needs to be mods done to loom and motor but what are they exactly)
#3)do I have to get the security stuff removed off my computer for the motor to run?
#4)is it possible to have all this running in a weekend with a fully qualified mechanic and me commodore nut lol? I'm sorry I know this is done to death but the more I research the more different every one says to do it! Sorry guys any info would be awesome thanks heaps guys!

I don't think you're VR Gearbox will fit upto you're Ecotec motor. Pretty sure VR Manuals use a T5 and the Ecotec use a Getrag.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!

Some ecotecs had the T5. Think it changed somewhere in the vs model run.

i think series one vs came with T5, later models had the getrag, also instead of modding your existing loom why wouldn't you just take the one from the VS along with the ECU, makes more sense to me but it's your car... but i don't know if the ECU off the VR will work as the VR's had a MAP and a few other little things didn't they? so wouldnt it already be programmed to run a different type of motor?

He will need to get an ECU for a VS manual. The VR and VS use 2 totally different motors.

you can run an ecotec on a 808 has been done before, need to fit up the map sensor and change the coolant sensor for a start then there's some rewiring to do. Also the 808 tune will have to much timing and need to be wound back. If you have a vs pcm and all wiring then that would be easier, can find the thread if your interested.
