Hi all,
Can anyone tell me how to findout if the VATS have been deleted? I have access to a full scanner, and has come up with hotwire condition in the fault codes? I have no idea on the history of the PCM, brought off our ebay equivilant recently and just curious.

hotwire is bcm code, means the key ring to the keypad hasn't made contact properly, common fault and really nothing to worry about. Just check your keypad contact and the ring to make sure there clean.

Oh thats probably because the case is broken and the remote sits in the centre consloe most times.
Does the anti theft system cut fuel pump and all that normally? I only ask as mine only cuts the starter.

injectors & Starter motor, if the security light is still blinking while your trying to start it then it's still activated.
