vs vr engine i.d.

can anyone tell by engine number if its a vr or vs please . the number is ENGRAVED not stamped. i bought this low klms motor with missing cam followers and injectors etc & was wondering if parts from a VP would be compatible ..i have a VP car with r/s bottom end ... thx 4 help...les

I have engine numbers reocorded for serveral hundred cars and can place a motor in the VN - VS time line easy enough.

What is the VH number on the block?

hello mate ,the engine number is N5H1267392 its engraved [little dots] not stamped like ordinary engines .....thx for info cheers les
