Next thing to try is a new coil pack....or even a secondhand one. Then the DFI module. You usually see the DFI module and coilpacks sold on Ebay as one item. Missing at cruising speeds usually is due to coil problems - what happens is that at cruising speeds the fuel mixture leans out for economy but is harder to fire, so a marginal coil will not fire the plugs under these conditions.

The only thing left u haven't touched fuel wise is the pressure regulator.

I'm going with hako on this one, coils. See if u can't swap with a mate just to see if the issue follows the coils

I still reckon coilpacks....like I said before, when cruising the fuel mix is leaned out for economy and this requires a higher voltage from the coils to fire the plug(s)...the higher voltage places extra strain on the coils causing them to break-down and fail to fire the plug especially if the throttle is opened slightly when cruising. Result is the engine misses. Checking error codes may or may not give an indication as high voltage leakage from the coil(s) is not monitored.
