Run a fused power wire from the battery to your amp, then run 1 or 2 RCAs from your headunit to your amp - If only one, use the left channel.

    Pretty easy, really

well if you type it in on the search bar im sure you will find more than enough info.
But just my little input, ive done a few sub and amp installs, you will need Power cable with fuse, Ground/earth cable, RSA, switch wire, speaker wire, sub and amp you should be able to buy a pack from an auto shop that has it all.
When you hook up your switch wire to the back of you head unit it's usually a blue wire that sit's by itself that is the switch wire. make sure you have a good earth as it can short out the hole system otherwise. Use something that attaches onto the body of the car is it's completely earthed, some thing like a baby seat attachment bolt or even just a screw into a hidden panel (on my mates vs sedan i just found a panel that supported the boot hinge and screwed into it), usually sand away the paint untill you get shiny metal then attach the wire to it. for the positive wire It's best to have the fuse near the battery as it safer and stops the entire wire melting before the fuse blows out. use heat shrink and solder for good connections if your joining any wires together as it will help prevent any electrical shorts down the track.

Loads of info around the place mate, PM me if you need help i'd be happy to help you out I can take photos of my install if you like. If it's auto make sure you run the power cable through the clutch cable grommet, do not try and pry it through anywhere else!

    good luck
