what is better for a worked 5L twin throttle body set up or dual plane high rise aiming for max power![]()
Depends on how worked. From what I've read there's a possibility to lose power when changing to an aftermarket manifold if the engine is not overly worked.
Well if you want numbers its my understanding that a single plane high rise will do it, if you want torque, its a little outside of my understanding but the dual plane would be a good medium and a twin throttle for something that spins big revs. But I'm not 100% so theres that as well.
the motor is in the shop its getting the heads flowed to 550hp keith black flat top pistons an a h304 cam try to work out direction i should head towards with the manifold . my understanding the low rise will restrict me to 430hp at the motor so what combo will suit me the best an still fit under the bonnet with decent size air cleaner cheers
max power =
hi-rise single plain manifold
carby spacer
big demon or holley on top
but that would be out tha bonnet
i am leaning towards throttle body injection or something that produces plenty of torque an power
