VS Commodore dead coil pack?

Hi, i just learned that i could test my coil pack with a multi meter and came up with 5.7 between 6 and 3 5.71 between 5 and 2 but when i tested 4 and 1 i got no reading at all. Does this mean 4 and 1 is dead?

hi mate just had same problem with my car... unplug 4 at the coil pack and start the car, a working coilpack should have a clean spark then try 1 and do same thing. if there is no spark there dead or a messy spark is not realy healthy to... you will b able to tell....
if they r dead it should b missing when u drive aswell.

Thanks for the quick reply guys i just got my hands on another coil pack to test though and it looks like it was in fact dead.

No idea, all i know is i have another one in it now and it runs like a million bucks.
