6HDD, will a 7HDD fit?
I have a vs II v6 with problems with the auto, its a 6HDD and I know someone with a 7HDD does anyone know if it will fit?

My 97 VS2 has the 7HDD fitted from the factory so it should fit....

Pretty sure the number represents the year of the box.
6=96 etc. I think you may find you cant change boxes due to the plug having different pins.
Dont quote me on that but im sure ive seen something like that written here.
