Default Vs Calais no ignition atall

Hi. I have 95 VS Calais that will not start without me shorting the terminals on the starter motor with the ignition switched on. It has lost power windows, electric antenna, central locking, dash lights and wipers. the power steering feels alittle tighter aswell. Ive checked all fuses etc and am at a loss. Any help would be great. Ive turned the ignition on for 45mins aswell as for 2hrs and still nothing, Although I still have ignition lights...

Hi Ive checked all fuses under bonet and under the drivers side in the fuse box area, aswell as swaped relays over and still nothing. The only work done lately was 3 months ago where I had coils RFI mod and angle crank sensor replaced. I was driving up the f3 and went to close my window, but no power. There was power half hour before that. When I checked it out the next morning thats when I found all the others things had stopped working aswell.

I would start probing all terminals in the fuse box with the key on to see what has power and what doesn't. Back trace from there. The loom may have broken or melted, or a plug has a bad connection.

Also, check the BCM plug, make sure it is in tight. Or the BCM may have died.

Does the VS have a fuseable link? Can't remember. It will be a fairly thick wire coming off the positive battery terminal with a plug on it. Check that to make sure it has power both sides.

Are you checking the fuses with a test light?

No test light, Im using a multimeter to test for voltage on the feed side and load side. All volts are present. Ive also noticed the LED security light between the hazard lights switch and the demister switch is not flashing at any stage like it use too. Im swinging towards BCM from the info I gathered from this site. I can obtain a second hand BCM with the key head it came with, would that allow the BCM to operate with out programing it again?
