My heater hoses have suddenly turned white, Im pretty sure it won't hurt anything, but I'm curious as to why... Got any answers??
When coolant leaks out and dries it turns white, might have had a small leak and the hoses got wet.
Oh, that makes sense, it has been leakin a little bit. cheers
Some hoses seem to get a chalky white coating on them - I guess it depends on what they are made of. If it was coolant, it will be thicker and a bit green if you are using correct coolant.
