vr commodore Got no idea wat its doing?
HI, the last couple times i have driven my commodore it starts up fine but after i drive it for short amount of time i turn it off and try start it again, it starts depending on how long i have driven it but when push down the throttle it stalls! the air intake taco goes right down and the car stalls. I had a problem recently with the thermo fan and put another relay in and it seemed to be working but i think this has something do with it cause its seems to be running really hot even after a short 15 minute drive or even less?

Try replacing the crank angle sensor... Common problem with the vr, gets abit of heat on it then trips

thanks mate will give that a try prob never been replaced anyways cheers !!!!

if that fails try throttle position sensor (TPS)

with the throttle position sensor, would the engine light come on?

Yeah if the engine light is on check your error codes
