Drives fine but when turn it off after short drive ?

HI, the last couple times i have driven my commodore it starts up fine but after i drive it for short amount of time i turn it off and try start it again, it starts depending on how long i have driven it but when push down the throttle it stalls! the air intake taco goes right down and the car stalls. I had a problem recently with the thermo fan and put another relay in and it seemed to be working but i think this has something do with it cause its seems to be running really hot even after a short 15 minute drive or even less?

check for error codes, but could be the cas(Crank Angle Sensor), try pouring some water over the cas when hot and see if it starts straight away, it's on the right side of the ballancer.
