Hey Guys,
So I ran a check on the error codes and I got the following:
46 - No Reference Signals whilst cranking
66 - Shift Control Solenoid Circuit Fault
47 - Crank Angle Reference Signal
and I also got an 85 but the code is not listed, does anyone know what the 85 is?
So basically this is telling me that the crank angle sensor is stuffed and needs replacing?
Also with the shift control solenoid circuit fault - automatic transmission only, what exaclty does this mean in laymans terms?
Gear box stuffed?
Thanks for your help guys speak soon.

MALF 46/47 having any issues starting when hot?
MALF 66 is 3-2 Shift Solenoid Fault.
MALF 85 is a Trans Slip Fault, would be most likely related to the 3-2 Solenoid Fault if it is faulty.
If your not having shifting issues or starting issues then i would pull the engine fuse for 30mins, the codes should then be cleared and check again after a drive to see if they return.
Yeah when the car is hot, it won't start but all good when it cools down for a bit.
Car cuts out sometimes whilst driving, particularly when it warms up.
Yeah the solenoid is faulty, going to take it for a service and have the solenoid replaced. $260 seems reasonable?
160 bucks for the CAS to be replaced?
Alot cheaper to do it all yourself, but if not inclined then, the cas price is pretty good as you have to pull the balancer off to replace it, bit of labour. The Trans Price is average, just make sure it's gets a full oil change with new filter included as well as the 3-2 fitting.
yer mate change the soloniods yourself so easy buy a gasket and filter kit $30 or cheaper depending on where you go 2 bottles of dex 111 (3) trans oil check wiring harness when you drop the sump make sure all is good while its off then there is two soloniods side by side with a copper wire wound around it they are both square like pop out the pin that holds the soloniod in place then pull out the soloniods job done ohhhhhh disconnect the bat whiles doing this cause the comp may still hold a error. good luck easy job you should be able to handle it
