Hey, i have a 95 VS V6 Auto waggon and i have noticed the transmission starting to mess up, if im rolling along witht the car sitting in 3rd at roughly 2,000 RPM when i release my foot from the accelerator to start braking, it occasionaly (but too often) slips itself into 2nd gear for a second then changes back up to 3rd, which is quite annoying as im rolling along and then my car suddenly slows with compression and revs up and then changes back to 3rd gear. I have checked the transmittion fluid, and it seems to be sitting within the correct levels, allthough there is lots of air bubbles within the oil on the dipstick everytime i pull it out, not sure if this is normal or not :/
Also when my car has been freshly started, what seems like my fuel pump isnt working efficiently, will cause my car to jutter and misfire occasionally, until it has been running with good pressure in the rails for atleast 10 seconds i have to take it very easy, or the car will konk out, my friend seems to also think this will fix my problems when taking off from a stand still, the car will misfire on take off, everytime without doubt, the more i put my foot down at the start the worse it hesitates upon takeoff. Is this just the fuel pump not putting enough pressure in the fuel rails???
Any help appreciated guys.
Thanks. nick

It should not have air bubbles - this suggests that the fluid is frothing due to low or high fluid level...this then allows air to mix with the fluid and when the aerated fluid goes through the valve body it will caise all sorts of problems (aerated fluid is compressible...normal fluid is incompressible)
Re fuel problem, check fuel filter and also plugs and leads. If these 3 are old then it would be a good idea to replace them anyway. I'd also run the error codes and see what it brings up.
