    Default What transmission

    So I think my transmission maybe be on its way out. If I was to replace it what would be the best type to replace it with.

    4L60E, your regular ol' VS trans.

    get a trans cooler and corvette servo to go with it, maybe a shift kit.

    Isnt there something better tho. Already have a servo in now and would swap it into the new trans

    apparently you can fit a 4L65E (fitted to 6L V8's i think) but that would be a bloody expensive trans.
    you could try and find a T5 manual?

    OK well im going to have about $3500 between Christmas and the end of Feb. So i either get a new trans or new car just trying to look at options

    Yea i like the idea of it but dont want to get a car that will just stuff up.
