Well today after driving my v6 vr sr2 commodore i opened the bonnet to change my c.a.s and noticed i hade a small coolent leak from my inlet manifold, the drivers side between the rocker cover and top of the inlet manifold. I will be doing this repair myself but cant get time until mid this week. The car temp still stays around the half way mark and i will be topping the coolent up every day untill repair. My only concern is will this cause other trouble leveing the repair for a few days.
cheers
No it'll be right if you keep checking your coolant EVERY time u drive it....
Changed mine last week and cleaned the intake manifold and now she runs super cool and a much better idle
It will be right mate, i drove my VR for a good 6 months after holden told me they were really shot lol
I made a how on it here - Vr inlet gasket replacement
