97 vs ss manual issue's

now.... i have oil in my water so guessing head or inlet manifold gasket time..... that i can live with, however lately i cannot get it to turn over especially once been going. a light with this symbol appear's on the dash (!) thought disconnecting battery to reset ecu was fixing this till recently but now does it all the time. a fluke when it does actually start now i think. when i turn the key to ignition point, this symbol appear's and all i hear is a single dull click under bonnet/dash directly infront of driver. havent got time to get into town to get fault code's checked so does anyone know what it is please??

i think you can check the codes yourself, there is a how to on this site somewhere.

dud starter motor id say, although check the wires to it make sure they're tight and have good clean contacts
