VS Chrome Gutter Strips

hey all, I hope I'm posting this in the right area haha

I was just wondering if anyone had any pictures of a white vs with the chrome strips where the window moulding is??
I was thinking of buying some for my car but I'm not sure how it would look??

opinions would be helpful too haha.

Be warned tho. If they try sell you just the chrome strips for the rear quarters, dont take it, they wont fit. You need the whole window.

Go for them bro, chrome looks mad against any colour.

Who'd have thought buying a Berlina would some day be such a hinderance?!?! So expensive to buy replacement parts these days!!!!! IE Replacing chrome strips among other parts!!

so i bought a set of moulds

but i cant figure out how to get it on the front door? do i have to take the side mirrors off to get it to fit?

How hard are these to put on? Keen to throw some on my green VS but not even sure where to start looking to buy them from, any ideas? (In Vic)

i just bought a set from ebay for about 40 bucks, and i went to the wreckers the other day and they had a tonne of vs/vr's with the chrome, so it shouldnt be too hard to find them.

the long strip above the doors is easy, it's just a few screws to undo and you just put the new one straight in. I figured out that the back door has 2 screws on either end and it has clips that hold the trim in, so that was easy as well. I'm just having trouble with the front door trim, im not sure if i have to take the side mirrors out of the way to do it, so im waiting on someone to answer that question haha.

and ive heard that for the back quarter window trim, you have to actually buy the window itself with the chrome on it, but that shouldnt be too hard to find either.

yer mate you have to take the mirrors off just becareful when you put the strips on because you might bend or scratch the crome peace

you dont need to remove the mirrors at all

my bad misread which part you were talking about! yeah mirrors off would make it easier...

ive only got the back door strip and top strip in so far haha, but it does look good
