warped front rotors.
They will need to be skimmed or replaced if they are too thin.

X2 warped rotors or grease/dirt on them in both situations you need to have them machined.

Yes I know, if you get anymore manly you are in danger of making yourself pregnant!
It could also be worn tierod end or rack ends. Warped rotors will also cause the brake pedal to pulsate as the warped rotor forces brake fluid back to the master cylinder.
"If anyone disagrees with anything I say, I am quite prepared not only to retract it, but also to deny under oath that I ever said it." --T. Lehrer
"The secret of success is sincerity. Once you can fake that you've got it made." -- Jean Giraudoux
Also worn front wheel bearings/front hub bearings can cause shuddering under braking, even if the brake discs are just slightly warped, these days brand new brake discs are so cheap to buy, that its just not worth getting the old brake discs skimmed/machined, and machined discs are never as good as brand new ones anyway. Check out ebay for the cheapest prices on new discs. Also these front wheel bearings cant be replaced and the whole front hub has to be replaced as a complete unit. Theres different hubs for ABS/non ABS equipped vehicles, and the ABS hubs are handed left and right, and theres different hubs for IRS/non IRS ABS equipped vehicles.

Warped front rotors from me too. New rotors and pads will fix your problem.
I do slotted rotors and pads for $230 shipped to Albany. Or I do a custom curve slot with dimples and hi performance pads for $280 shipped.
