back window thing on a station wagon

The spoiler thing that is supposed put a draft over the glass to keep the dust off.

Does anyone know what it's called and can you buy them for a vs and do they work?

If you look at most VT wagons onwards, they seem to have them fitted. In my experience, makes it more difficult to clean around them. You have a rear wiper and a squirty thing - if the window is dusty squirt and wipe.

I do prefer the look of them asthetically, but the cleaning underneath is annoying.

I suspect that in terms of glare reduction they may have a more positive impact.

Thanks very much for the replies. If they don't keep dust off, I'll probably erase the idea from my head. $170 seems a little excessive, anyway.

ive had a couple before and yes they keep dust off by deflecting wind down onto the window. Theyre actually called a dust deflector i think but most people advertise them as spoilers i picked one up off ebay for $30 just wait till a 2nd handy comes up
