    Default Engine conversion question

    hi

I am thinking of putting my mates engine from his written off VT into my vs Ute. Only thing is that the VT is an auto and my VS ute is a manual. Im just wandering if anyone know of any problems i may run into putting the auto engine into a manual. any help would be greatly appreciated

    thanks

Might need to change dowels as well.
They're to locate the transmission properly.

Make sure you change over your Plenum as well. The VT's use a EGR system, VS don't.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!

Will be a straight swap but make sure u change over the upper plenum with EGR like said. You dont want that and your vs loom won't have the plug for it. Dowels are not a must but defintly worth doing while its out. Also make sure you use new flywheel bolts as they are torque to stretch as there tightened.

    Good luck
