problems vs v8 ute

tonight driving home had a small flat spot, got worse then started to backfire then would cut out then just go again, would drive fine after that about 5 kms then do it all again, about 2 weeks ago changed ignition moduile because ute just stoped one day just not been right
any tips guys??

You should check your distributor cap for cracks and wear. It sounds like you have a worn cap.
