    Default Steering wheels?

    Hi all,
I have a VS Stato and want to replace the steering wheel with something less ugly.
Have been looking around and no one has really been able to help with any suggestions.
Happy not to run the airbag.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what will fit without having to get a custom steering boss.

    Cheers
    Pete

I hope your aware that to remove the airbag and run a non airbag steering wheel on a car that came factory with a drivers airbag is illegal?

If so, moving on...go for a VP Calais International or VR Clubsport steering wheel....

I prefer the factory steering wheels to be quite honest...but I'm more of a fan the stock look

bear in mind that not only is it illegal but if you have an accident your insurance won't cover you.

I put a Spraco wheel in my VS but thats because mine is more of a track car than a cruiser (and mine doesn't have airbags)

I would love a clubsport wheel as they look shmick but they are rare as hens teeth and quite expensive

and being a statesman you'll have a hard time trying to convince someone it didn't come with an airbag.
Have you seen the coloured leather ones on eBay or justcomm spares? They still have the air bag but would prob look nice if you match one to the colour of your car...
