That would depend on the condition of all the parts. The car would be 15 years old, so not quite in prime condition most likely.

Chances are something will go bang and you will have to walk. Maybe test the theory in your mum's car?

maybe you could just rev the car up and then throw some gravel into the intake, i heard its really good for your car. or you can just drain all the fluid out of your box so it will go faster cause there is no oil to create friction and it sheds some weight.

Wont hurt your car at all, go for it. Except for the entire drivetrain of course.. but no doubt you plan on sticking a blown LS7 in it next week anyway, like half the other p platers on the forum, so that shouldnt matter..

No it will not damage any important parts of ur car, don't listen to any of these wankers.

    You have two options

    1. Rev it in neutral to redline and then throw it into reverse.

    2. Drive about 80km and put it in reverse, lift the handbrake whilst turning the wheel in any direction you desire.

When your done that inbox me and we can organize payment and pick up of a new auto box.

And then once fitted to your car do NOT put any fluid in it at all. After this leave it in 1st gear and just redline it for about a couple mins or until the box explodes.

After that is done it should be about a week or so I should have another box for you.

    Cheers

I think we can safely assume by the posts that its probably not a good idea, in fact, only a dropkick would try. I also think the OP has got the message, since he hasnt replied since the original post
