smell fuel only a bit tho in cab, heard it might be something to with the oxy censors? if it is how it the problem??

I had this problem with the V6 in very cold weather. The rubber fuel hose to the fuel rail were a bit hard and fuel was spraying over the engine. As the car warmed up it stopped. New hoses sorted it out.
Can be the breather hoses on the tank.
Had this issue with my VT 5 Litre, it was the fuel hoses on the return line in the engine bay, just change both hoses between the fuel rail and the fuel lines, it isn't expensive to do.

Mine was rubber fuel hose in engine bay too. 5min to fix and no more huffin petty fumes for me

Could also be charcoal canister blockage or hairline crack in the fuel tank (often around seams or the part the hoses attach to).
