    Default Cruise control not working?

Hey I recently bought a vr and I have been trying to work the cruise control, I'm guessing its just not working because i cant figure it out but i havent got any manuals or anything. I try to press the cruise button on so the CRS light comes on, then when I'm at the speed I want i tried holding the set coast side of the indicator down but nothing happens. So is this right and its not functioning? Is it a hard fix which I shouldn't bother with?

My guess, the blue wire is broken and needs re soldering.

Mine does this too but everything is fine as far as wires etc are concerned so ive put it down to a dead cc module. Haven't been arsed to get a replacement.

Ive run across the broken wires for the cruise in the blinker switch a couple of times now, Ive seen 3 of the 4 wires broken and needed to be soldered up,which fixed the problem. When my cruise control stopped working,I traced the problem back to the cruise module located in the engine bay. It had stuffed up and the cruise wouldnt even turn on, I replaced the module and now its all working fine again. Gotta have cruise working on long trips. To test the cruise module, just unplug the wiring plug from the old cruise module, and plug it into a different module to see if it now works,of course you will firstly have to wire the spare module to something under the engine bay with tie wire so it cant fall out because you will have to drive over 40 kph for the cruise to work. And the cruise wont actually "work" as the throttle body cable is not connected to the spare module, so only the cruise lights will show if its turning on and setting, which it should show on the cruise dashlights if its all working correctly. If it now works, you just need to remove the old module and fit the replacement one,and swap the cable over, too easy.
