the left hand side of my car is higher then the other i took out both rear springs replaced front springs, struts, top mounts, k frame, link pins and undone the sway bar but still sits higher on the left hand side and the rails/ towers dont seem to be bent or damaged can anyone help me?
My VS Ute has the exact same thing.
I'm pretty sure it's because the ute's fuel tank is in the tub to the right hand side mate.
More weight on that side.
As Tim said the fuel tank, I have the same problem with my Vs and have replaced all suspension components
i think that all vs commodores have a tendancy to lean to the right, dunno why someone else will confirm what causes it. my ute has a slight lean to the right- maybe just spring sag
I had the same thing when i had my vs ute
Put a fat chick in the passenger seat and see if that fixes it.
It because the fat bastard in the drivers seat makes the springs sag after a while![]()

If your really worried you can get spring spacers from super pro, that's for live axle rear ends. My VR leans down to the right but only some times. it sounds weird but if i park it in my drive way it leans, My drive way is fairly flat, but at work its level. Same thing level surface. I have given up on it it looks good as i am sitting in it.
yeah i thought spring sag aswell thats why it has brand new springs but the fule tank is a good point and its full but the clearances on the front wheels from the guard are pretty noticeable
The workshop manuals mention that the right rear spring fitted to VR and VS model utilities is 10mm longer than the spring fitted to the left hand side rear.

when you took out both rear springs and replaced the front... did you put the back ones back in or is it towing an invisible caravan now.
The VN wagon had a saggy right rear spring - mechanic at the time said it was from the touque of the motor over the years. From behind the car watching it take off it did dip on the right rear and lift the left front up. I've launched the car hard most of it's 390,000kmslife.
So it can be a "soft" spring with the added fuel tank weight making it sit low.
If a new spring has the same issue maybe it's the wrong spring. Should look up the part number....

I had this with my VS after getting camber kit and superlows installed. Ended up being an alignment issue (stupid amounts of camber on one wheel, no camber on the other)
mine leans to the left, sometimes it's noticeable sometimes it is not,
I just assumed it was sag from driving and parking on roads that slope to the left thereby placing/moving the centre of gravity f the car over to the left side effectively making the left side heavier. When i notice it it looks odd
My car leans 5mm to the left, I noticed it after I bought and saw that the previous owner had it done professionally (receipts in the glove box) so I went to make sure nothing was wrong and they said that when they lower a car they tend to make the left side lower by 5mm as the right 'ages' quicker than the left due to the constant of a driver but not always a passenger.
Edit: I also have a slow leak in one of my front tires and when it drops to a lower pressure it is more apparent.
Be patient, I am inquisitive and I am learning.
you can buy rear spring seats from nolathane with 10mm lift on them, put that on the side that sags I've seen em on ebay
funny i noticed the same with mine 2day, my brother said straight away its sumthing to do with the touque from the engine lol
