    Default Interior Light Not Working

    Hey Y'all,

id appreciate any info on this matter.

My interior light on my VR has stopped working when door opens or when i flick the switch.

It had been working intermittently b4 but now theres nothing.
Ive changed the bulb ( the old one was shorting which confused matters ) and got the voltmeter out on door sensors and they seem to be fine, plus the switch should still work neway??

fuse? that or maybe a wire has come loose or off in the works somewhere? which is the other question, does the light earth or does it have a negitive wire going somewhere...

Default i reckon its a fuse

checked the fuses under the dash and the fuse for light has blown.

changing that should fix the problem.

    thanks

    Cool

The interior light does have an earth on it.....also...be careful when changing the bulb that the positive wire doesn't short.......

You need a multimeter. If you dont have one already get one because you can fix any electrical fault on your car with it. Once you have your hands on one measure the voltage on the connectors of the bulb. Chances are they wont say 12v. If they do the bulb is the problem. If they dont do a continuity check of the ground wire and then go from there. Message me if you get stuck.
