    Default injector fault????

this is doing my head in, this cars well kept, new CAS, water pump, fuel pump, starter motor alternator and always serviced on time (only done 1500km ago). its developed a missfire only evident at idle and in gear(auto) and it happens intermitedly (as in its smooth and then goes funny then clears up again and so fourth) saying that:i disconnected each injector one at a time while engine running and even though it runs some what worse it still had the stammer to it. until i disconnected injector 3 and it did the usual bad idle but no on and off stammering like before,so im guessing that i may have a bad number three injector. any thoughts on the matter and also if i change the injectors is it hard (bearing in mind its the family hack so i wont be modding at all. any ideas ?????? thanks mick

Would've suggestion disconnect each Injector 1by1 but you already have..
Removing the injectors would require you to depressurize the fuel system, then remove the fuel rail..

I got a injector service kit for my injectors, as the filters were clogged. now the miss I had is gone. Next time I will replace the injectors.

I got a brand new set of injectors off ebay, the ones shown in the link below. They arent bosch brand though, just a cheapie brand. I went to see a few of the EFI places around here that clean and service EFI systems and fuel injectors etc, and when I got talking to them and told them about the new ones available on ebay, a couple of places reckoned that the new ones would be the way to go, even if they are "cheap" brand ones, they said that the price of these brand new injectors is not that much more than what they charge to clean and reco a set of old used injectors, and they also said that old injectors will never flow as good as new ones will, so thats what made my mind up to try these, and I am happy with them, theyve been there for 6 months or so now and its still running as good as the day I first fitted them. The car starts instantly now as soon as the ignition key is turned to start, before, it used to wind over a few times before it would actually fire up, but now it starts instantly, and overall, the car just runs way better with these new injectors. Its now even better on fuel too,(and I though I was getting decent fuel economy before I repalced them,haha)..Id recommend these instead of getting old injectors cleaned or recoed or remanufactured etc, they took 2 days to get to me by mail, and they came with new o-rings fitted etc, all ready to install.
