Hey guys, ive tried to search google for this but to no avail.
I am looking into getting a car for towing duties and are juggling up whether to get a ute or a car with a towbar/trailer. both have pros/cons and i am still deciding; but what i need to know before i waste my time with vs utes is: how long is the tray. both with the tail up and the tail down. I need a ute with a tray as short as 2m but ideally would be 2.1-2.2 metres
Thanks,
Aidannn
I'll go measure up now... But, just so you know if you hitch a trailer you cant lay the tail gate down as it hits the trailer hitch, at least on mine anyway.....
ideally if i get a ute i wont need to "tow" anything, so i can just put it up in the tray.
Well the length of the tray with the tailgate up is 1790mm and tail gate down is 2680mm with a depth of 470mm....
The width of the tailgate is 1450mm but the width between the wheel arches is 1180mm
Hope this helps.
