Need a VS and have found these 2. Let me know what you think of them and which you would pick and why.
No.1
1995 Holden Commodore VS EXECUTIVE Blue A Sedan | eBay
No.2
1995 HOLDEN COMMODORE ACCLAIM VR II Private Cars For Sale in VIC - carsales.com.au
No.2 is a VS executive not a VR.
Cheers guys
3.08 LSD, 1.9.1 High Ratio Rockers, MACE CAI, Spacers
The VS, better engine in it. You should be able to find some a tad cheaper though, tried gumtree?
VR II S sedan - Genesis Blue - Cammed 304 - T5 - 19's - Weekend warrior
VS II S ute - Diablo Red - V6 - Getrag - Daily Hack
I'd go the second one - newly fitted LPG plus it's a VS with a more efficient Ecotec engine.
The ad says VR but the pics are of a VS.

you should be able to get it cheaper as I got a VS S with 150,000km for same price a couple of years ago

And they are overpriced, I suggest you keep looking.........
Car dealers will always ask for more than they are worth... seen one car dealer get a Holden Commodore VS EXECUTIVE from an auction for around $500 then to sell it for $3500 lol
Car dealers can be more trouble than they are worth.
what about this one? should be able to get it a bit cheaper
Holden Commodore VS (1997) 4D edan 4 SP Automatic (3.8L - Multi Point F/INJ) | eBay
I would go the second one because it looks in tidier shape and it has a brand new LPG tank in it. also you will save a dollar!
My opinion, as soon as I saw the prices and k's on both I closed the windows without reading further. I think they are INCREDIBLY overpriced for whats on offer. Just to start with if k's don't bother you, you can get a berlina/ calais for those prices or less. Unless they are in exceptionaly good condition, which I don't think they would be by this stage, wait for a bit if you can, you will find better deals than them.

I need some statesman/ calais woodgrain for drivers side panel!!
The private one on Ebay looks cheap especially with the rego and gas so that now goes to my number 1. However all that glitters is not gold!!!!

just get some people to put their feelers out, see what they can find.
$3500 for a VS now is just retarded, just don't jump on the first one you see.
happened to my mate, the start of this year he paid $2000 for a VP and my other mate was going to buy a completely rooted VN for $1400!
not the smartest fellows lol.
you don't really need LPG, it depends on the way you drive. heavy acceleration and city driving are usually not very good. lol

Done less k's than the one's in your links and considerably cheaper. Still with gas...

elmaso= Need the car on gas because i do more then 500km a weekend and im at uni and cant really afford the petrol.

Look for a lower mileage VS Acclaim. VS has the better ecotec v6, and the Acclaim has IRS, ABS, Cruise Control and should have drivers and passengers airbags which all don't come on the Executive unless it has been optioned up. Better you find the right car and put gas on it rather than buying junk that happens to have gas.
