    Default catalytic convertors...

    Hey all...

I've read about people using "factory/standard" cats to make a twin system on their VR/VS commodores. Which I aim to do, BUT...

As far as I'm aware the factory cat on a VR/VS commodore is a 2-in 1-out setup, not 1-in 1-out.

anyone know what cat's they are reffering to?

factory cat on a VS is single in single out, you have a y pipe from the exhaust manifolds that the cat is welded to

The VT has the two engine pipes welded to the front of the cat, the VS has the two pipes coming together just in front of the cat and a single pipe in.

The VR has a totally different engine pipe cat set up but two VR cats can be used as well. They are the same from VN-VR V6 and V8.
