weird scrapping noise when turning (in engin)

hi while im turning after teh lights turn green and give it slight to moderate throttle while turning there's this weird scrapping noise that's coming from the engine, the more revs i give the l;louder and quicker the noise seems, does it cold or hot, all pullys are fine and belts new, could it be oil starvation? been happening for years but just started doing it again, oils fine etc no low oil, maybe power steering pump? but id feel it in the steering wouldn't

I'd be checking power steering pump

Check it's not coming from the auto. If its bottom rear of the engine area get under and have another listen it could be the auto .
