Steering moan

Hi all ive got another problem in my vs whenever I turn the wheel even at speed it moans at me? Not sure what is can anyone help please?

Theres a bush located where the steering column shaft passes through the firewall into the engine bay, this bush gets dry and then causes this groaning noise.If you spray wd 40 up into this area from the engine bay side, (from under the car might be easier), this will stop the noise. I had this problem when I first got my vs, and I fixed it this way after reading about fixing this problem on here, and it has never come back, that was around 3 years ago now.

If you do it from the inside and don't like the poxy smell of wd40 inside your car, I used a silicon spray from wd40brand that has a nice airfreshner-like scent. Worked well for me, I just had to pull the carpet back a bit behind the pedals.
