vs commodore at times seems to backfire when starting

My vs commodore at times seems to backfire when I start it, which makes it harder to start and when you rev it a bit it backfires a bit. Once started and warmed up it runs fine.

Anyone got any tips on where I should be looking to help solve this little problem? I am leaning towards my injectors being the problem so far.

Try cleaning your MAF it can cause Idle problems and check the condition of your plugs also look for any damaged or crossed leads and finally one of the coils or DFI module could be faulty

It idles fine; the only time it had backfired was while it was being started and when you give it a bit of a rev for the first time once started.
The plugs and leads are new and I have swapped over my coils and DFI with a spare set.

I cleaned the MAF a few months ago lol... I have noticed when it has backfired it blows a bit of blue/grey smoke, I am not sure if it is related though....
