vs commodore owers

hey guys has anyone change a pcv valve before in a vs commodore.

and if anyone has ... how u go about it as mine just sits there with movment and i get that noise when i start up the engine...

as i spend the last 2 months rebuiling the engine ... this is the only thing i'm thinking its making the noise as it moves around inside the intake ....


oh and can anyone tell me which part of the head dose there auto dipstick blots on to and that etu or what ever it is lol...

So your pcv valve can move around once its installed? Sounds like you've installed it without the o-ring seal around the body of it. This o-ring around the outside keeps it tight in the hole and also forms an air tight seal so that any hydrocarbons must pass through the valve, and not escape around the outside of it. This also makes sure that any oil film is separated.
What noise are you getting when you start it?
The auto dipstick bolts to the back of the drivers side head with a short bolt. You should see a vacant thread there which lines up with the bracket on the dipstick tube.
