what condition is it in. if it's still in good nick and just needs a bit of lovin then there is always potential. if there is some major work that needs to be done to it then it's easier to just take what you need and sell the rest for parts, get your cash back.

I have not picked it up yet, The motor does not run (Not sure why) It has a 5 speed manual and a club sport body kit on it, Which is in need of a clean up.

well mate youve scored your self a 5 speed manual coversion for yourself, that is if your isnt already manual, got a pretty decent looking clubby kit, also did i spot a set of pacie extractors on it? i recon you got heaps of stuff for that price what a steal mate.

Pick up a long block 3800 off here for a hundred bucks, chuck it in and you got yourself a sweet daily

I could use the motor I have or just take all the bits off it and put it on mine... The paint on mine is in better shape though....

usually pacies have some kind of stamp on them some where that says pace maker or similar.

The ground is my only option unless I get someone else to do it.... The auto I assume would be much harder?

You will also need the manual engine harness and wiring, and either a ecu update or maybe swap them, I'm not to sure. I've only done limited research as eventually I want to do a manual conversion.

I am amazed that I even won the auction.... Going to see what the deal is with the motor before anything else... If it is bad I am going to take what I want from it, then resell it or let the wreckers have it. Not sure if I want the 5 speed yet as I am lazy lol, but it would be good to have

this car deffinately has potential.. would be worth fixing up. let me know what parts your sellin cause i just bought a vs today and im putting the motor into my vr with a t5 behind it and may need some parts.. cheers

Maybe he didn't get the price he was hoping for and has cold feet? tell him you will report him to ebay and leave him bad feedback as a last resort if the sale falls through. Keep hassling him for the address in the meantime though. If a week goes by and he still doesn't play ball report him.

Yes true.. But he should of set a reserve price. The fact it was not running would of caused a lack of intrest as most would be looking for a car that runs....

But now I have another problem.. The car has a dead battery and I have dealocked the car with the key but now I cannot unlock the door. so I am wondering if I can get power to the car will the doors unlocck or is the lock broken in some way? at any rate I need to find a way to get in the car
