Is the starter and or flywheel jammed?

It won't turn over all? If you jack the back up with the clutch in, can you turn the wheels?

    Can you crash start it?

Did he use the Manual ECU and wireing loom? The auto has a switch that lets the car know if it is gear or not and will not start if it thinks it is in gear...

    ^ This.

If you get lights and then go for ignition and nothing at all happens it is your immobiliser. You can try letting it pause a little longer on the reds or jiggle it a little to make sure there is contact with the electronic key head.

If it was the starter jamming or the drive line fouling it would be pretty damn obvious.

still sounds like you have it in gear (D)... Did you bridge the correct wires?

    Exclamation

Immobiliser has been fully taken out prior to coversion, tail shaft still is not connected up yet, so havent checked if clutch is jammed on, neutral switchhas been bridged properly and still nothing, ,,

Just did this last week, and nothing has to be bridged to start the car. But I bet the inhibiter switch is on (wont start in drive), this is the green and black circle looking thing a bit bigger
then the size of a 50 cent piece located under the center console. Move the switch on the side and keep turning the car over. If you are in the Dandy area I could give you a hand.

Taken out? It is part of the BCM from what I understand and can only be disabled (Turned off)

^i agree sounds like throttle cable stuck. if it factory immobiliser you can leave key on for 30 mins and it overrides the immobiliser... if you want to wait that long to check
