need advice on vs statesman engine change.

hey all. i need some advice on an engine change i wanna do.
i just got a vs statesman with a v6 with 358000ks... i want to change the motor for one with lower ks. but im wondering if a vt/vx ecotech would work in my car or would i be better of just getting a vs motor? i just thought that all ecotecs are the same.

oh and mine is currently duel fuel.

any advice would be good. thanks in advance..

pretty sure all ecotecs are exactly the same until VY and thats just a plug or two for installation....

You need a few things from your VS motor. Like the inlet manifold and engine mounts and I think a pulley that is for your current air con...
