    Exclamation guys help vs engine

    hey guys i rebuild a vs engine form the heads up and after the last few months doing so i started it up today with this noise i have pulled it back apart but nothing looks bad so what could this dam noise be?

    listern to the vid and have your bet on what it is.....

    i also found Metal shavings in oil so much for rebuild it by that i think i'm up for a new engine

    Pull the rocker covers off and have a look...if the metal shavings are in the oil that means they didn't pass thru the oil pump and filter so they must be coming from the rockers....maybe one rocker not screwed down properly or a bent pushrod.

    did that its not the rockers the main berrings are gone so i'm just going to the vs as parts and get some money back on the crap lol ..... there going on ebay if anyones needs parts cheers

    timing chain or something has come adrift in there does not sound good, metal shavings alloy or cast?

    there used to be an old saying that if you did the topend, without doing the bottom, the top will be good but the bottom will blow
