i would like to know if legally i can run 18's on a VR
Im pretty sure you can.
Old rules were 2 inchs over normal but I think that rule is no more.
VS and the VR came standed with 15"s but these days dosnt matter how big u go as the police dont worry about the rims anymore llol
It goes by the rolling diameter so basically the bigger the rim the lower the profile the of the tyre needs to be.
PERFORMANCE MODS- JTG Liquid injection, Under driven pulley, Pacemaker extractors, 3" X-force system, Cold air intake, MAF Less tune 267.9 RWKW'S

Yes I know, if you get anymore manly you are in danger of making yourself pregnant!
Within 15mm of standard diameter of rim/tyre assembly.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
to go the safe way i'd go 235/45/17's they are the equivaliant to the rolling diameter of the 15's legally
Not sure about vic but the overall rolling diameter in QLD cant differentiate by +15mm or -26mm than the original manufactured wheels and must have equal or more than the original load rating. Check with your RTA or whatever you guys have down there.
Use this site to help you figure out what sizes you can go: Visual Tyre Size Calculator | Kouki Tech
Also a VR Acclaim would have come out with 205/65/R15's if your unsure just check your tyre placard. If you don't have one, i suggest you get one because it's illegal to remove them.

im just running 245 19" huge different to the old 15" 3 spokes haha
This is a good idea.
Apart from almost identical rolling diameter, some VR's were fitted with these on a 8x17 rim from factory.
As it was a factory option for that model, the authorities can't touch you.
I have VYSS 17's on mine and, being a factory rim, have the correct offset.
