wierd problem.

Hi all,
I have a 95 vs acclaim , I put in a new indicator stalk in the other day, then this is when my problem started.
Went down the street did some shopping got back in my car went to start it, nothing happened the lights on the dash came on,
but the car did not turn over. So i moved the gearstick from park to first and back a couple of times, tried again and still nothing.
So i tried another three times just turning the key then the car started no probs.
Went to go out a bit latter same problem starting it. Went out this morning same problem,
Just tried it before had no problem started the car 15 times. Does any one have a idea what is going on
, I really don't want to get stuck some where.

check that the contact around the key hole and on the key are clean or that the ring is in correct position after removing column shroud!!
