    Default 99 vs series 3

    hey guys im looking at getting a vs ute i have found one for 6k its weird it has a 4spd column shift what do you guys think of these?????

    yeah its always up too you in the end on what you want. nothing is wrong with column shift. but centre shift would be better

    Must be a miss print they didnt come out 4 speed dont know about the 4 cylinder ones tho.

    All auto Commodores were four speeds from VN to VY and most of the base models were on VZ and VE. 4 cylinders????? Not in Australia.

    They put out a 4 cylinder VC. Quite useless from what I've read.

    yep, 4 speeds and many have 'overdrive' so this might be where people get confused think they are not 4 speed? they certainly are not 3 speeds and the only 5 speeds i've heard of in that era are the manuals

    The vn vp vr vs came out 4 cylinder for export and v6 v8. i thought you may be from nz theres a few threds on here about the export. im glad we dont have 4 cylinders over here .

    well it means you can fit 3 people in the front, so why not? =P

    however a 3 seater with a floor manual is even more fun

    but $6000 for an auto does seem sorta high. i would expect a manual for that (or maybe a bit more but still)
    how about we make the pedals out of sticky rubber and the shoes with steel spikes. at least my shins would like that

    Nah bro the 4 cyl commodores are awesome because they all have manual steering racks in them, so the manual steering conversion on vn-vp is easy as
