2 weeks ago my car just randomly refused to start one morning but i got it started and 15mins down the road it stalled.
So i had a look on the web and found out how to get the error code and it was saying it the it was the CAS so i replaced it and with a little luck it started a gain.. for a few hours.
so i took it to the mechanic and he replaced the CAS thinking the one i put it was no good and the car started running again but as soon as i picked it up 5 mins down the road it stalled -.-
Anyway is there any ideas?
Its stuck on the side of the road atm but will water over the sensor work even if it had just been put in?
Cheers.
EDIT: When it stalled id loose all power the check engine light comes on.
also it does not struggle to run when its about to stall. the fuel pump is fone as i can here a hum when i turn the key.
My misses car does the same thing I removed injector leads blew in em all to remove any dirt or dust plugged them all back in pushed hard to make sure they were all on properly then it started. If it still doesn't start try wiggling all injectors & the plug on the back of alternator. They r the things I done & they worked.
CAS wiring?
Have you rechecked the error codes again after the new CAS was fitted?. If its still spitting out CAS error codes, then as mentioned above, carefully check the wiring between the CAS and the DFI module and ECU. The DFI (Direct Fire Ignition) module is located under the 3 ignition coils at the front of the engine.(The 3 coils actually bolt to the DFI module with small bolts)..The DFI module wiring connector has a small bolt that needs to be removed before the DFI wiring connector can be unplugged from the module. Its also worth checking the contacts in the wiring connectors for corrosion etc, as corrosion in this connector has caused similar problems for other people in the past. If theres no problems with the wiring, and no corrosion in the connectors etc, then the DFI module itself may be faulty. Id try another DFI module next up if the wiring is ok.
The ECU is located behind the passenger side kick panel.
Ill be going back out tomorrow with my mechanic to get the codes and take it from there.
Thanks guys for your input.

make sure the cas you put in is in good condition.
