    Default front end clunks

As title says, front end has clunks.
Happens when I brake sometimes and sometimes on bumpy roads.

Gonna try strut bushes, link pins and Castor rod bushes.
Wheel bearings are tight and everythings looks ok underneath.
    Its on a vs Acclaim.

    could be anything

Sway bar bushes, worn struts/strut tops, engine mounts, trans mounts, link pins etc etc

Trust me, finding front and rear end knocks can cost alot of $$$ as alot of the time its one of those process of elimination type situations

Maybe take it to a suspension specialist if your not sure and then use their information to get a idea.
Is it lowered? I know sway bar links are a very common problem for clunking when reversing out of drive ways.

If it happens when you brake then it may be the front radius rod bushes.

Thats happened to a few of my customers cars, turned out to be the sway bar link pin bushes. Ended up buying the whole link pin and bushes kit because the washers were worn as well.

Ok, first thing you need to check if its happening when braking is the 2 big bolts that hold the sub frame on. Do you find the car slightly changes direction when you brake sometimes? They come looses sometimes.

Go though the whole thing underneath and check all the bolts are tight.

Next thing you should do is replace the strut top bearings and bushes then link pins then radius rod bushes.

I have link pin bushes ready to go. Waiting on the other two cause I one is worn and I reckon the strut tops are stuffed.
Ill go over the bolts when I get a chance.
Ill let you know what I find.
It doesnt always happen under brakes.
Doesnt always happen on a bump but I know its there.
I dont think it changes direction when braking.
