I want to lower it but ive been told by a mate who knows a bit about his cars and ive been told that i should change the bushings and torsion bars while im lowering it.
If you blokes and lass's if theres any of u on here that would be able to help me out with brands and prices and things that i may need todo with lowerin the beast. any info on whats the best parts to get for my hard earned and what else i may need to fix up an change round while im at it todo with the process.

Just call around and get some SSL King Springs.
A wreckers might have some on hand also.
The bushes will flog out at some point but its nothing to replace at a later date.
Rear end is real easy to do urself. Drop the bottom of the shock and undo the back bolt on the rear trailing arm and it will drop to the ground and the spring will fall out. I went SL kings on mine, and that low enough to be practicle still. Any lower i think will be a pain in the but. If you do go any lower, you will have to get an adjustable panhard rod do bring the diff back to center so the passenger side wheel dost scrub on the gaurd.
The front end is a bit of a pain, and if ur not gearedup its kind best left to a shop. But be prepared to spend up big on the front(like close to a k). Theres a fair chance theres gonna be a fair few bushs that will need doing, and it costs a bit to do em, plus the cost of new shocks and springs.

Commodores dont have torsion bars, only utes/vans and dirty old valiants (like my VJ lol) do. He probably meant fitting an adjustable panhard bar, which is a good idea to stop your tires rubbing with a load on as it keeps the diff centered.
