    Question replacing fuel pressure regulator

hey fellas, so i wanna change my fuel regulator on my ecotec as as signs point to it now that i think about it (properly) but i just wanted to know what other have done with the fuel hose goin back to firewall as im assuming it cant be reused after cutting it off regulator because its inner plastic lining is fitting and hard......... should i get some more efi hose and efi clamps and replace hose or is there something else i can/should do?

You need the fuel line tools and you can still buy the proper fuel lines from Holden or a few other places

Note from VS V6 maintenance CD:

"The fuel pressure regulator is integrated with the fuel rail and cannot be replaced separately."

Earlier eco's have a machined alloy fuel rail with removable front piping and regulator.

My vy motor came with some shit integrated reg pressed steel design.

I've got three fuel pressure regulators. The original one, a second hand one, both sitting in a box of parts, and one on the car (a new one to replace the second hand one I bought - although it is not new now, this was a few years ago).

I took them off, and put them on easy peasy. You do need the fuel line removal tool though, you buy them from an auto parts store.. I can take pictures for you OP if you like.

^not sure. Would have to see it.

I like the earlier alloy rail. Can be machined, bored, anodised, chromed and appears to be higher flow when compared to the later one.

I would like to set one up with dual adjustable regs coming off a twin pump surge tank before boosting.
