Vs t5 manual conversoin
hey guys i have an 1995 vs calais and iv just fitted a t5 gearbox, car drives great and runs well and goes well, only thing is speedo doesnt work, i have tryed two speed senders and 2 dashs, motor didnt go when i got it so i have just put motor and box in it so dont no the history of the car, i have checked wiring and ecu, checked with multimeter very thing appears to be ok and cant fined a reason y it wont work, anyone point me in any direction?

Maybe the BCM?...on the wiring diagram the BCM forms part of the speedo wiring but I'm only guessing. This has been asked before so you might be best doing a search.

well after alot of stuffing around and testing it turns out the computer has a foult in it on the speedo circuit the computer was one i got a chip fitted to for t5 conversoin with a 6g limiter (stage 4 chip) after trying a second computer it now works but car runs like crap, the joys of motor mods time for tune and new chip to suit my motor and car cheers guys for the help

oh also dont trust people when they fit the chip for you cost me alottttt of hours in testimg parts, glade i know abit about eletrical and cars woud have cost me a lot in $$$$$$ cheers
