Default Fat red wire under glove box cruise control?

Under the glove box i have a fat red wire that has been cut, it has about 12 smaller wires around a 3 wire core
anyone have any idea as to what this does? cant get a pic right now or even find it in any pics or posts,

i'm thinking it may be cruise control as mine never worked
    wire is about 6-7mm

    ideas?

Get yourself another dash loom. $50, rip dash out, change. Win. If theres cut wires everywhere, do that. Only advice i can give.

pulled the center console/ glove box out red wire connected to round black plug under glove box cant find the cut end
loom looks good no visual breaks still a bit of flex in wires, is there a fuse or resistor something in dash for LCD's that may have blown
Also would the blower relay be stuck? or would that be on when the car is off

That red wire is the stacker wire. I would assume the LCDs run through your dash lights, if they work, its not a fuse.
No really experience with heater box related problems sorry.

Stacker wire? Berlina didn't come with a stacker. Maybe amp power run by a previous owner?
Try a new unit for the climate control.
