    Default VR V6 Tyre Width

What's the standard width of the rims for a VR V6?

Mine aren't stock chasers though. Don't know whether that's the way its meant to be or what.

Because I've currently got 205/65R15s and when I get a set of P7's, and was wondering if it was even worth, if it was legal, and if it was even possible to stick a set of the bigger 225s of them on it.

    Thanks.

205 to 225 is not worth the different price. Stock rims are 15x6. Interceptor rims are 15x7. Is there any difference? Some extra lip on the rim bout it. You might get lucky and find the 15x7's that have been strengthened but it's hit and miss.

    Alright.

If the difference isn't worth the extra price. I won't worry about it. P7's will be a big upgrade anyway from what I'm on now.

    Cheers mate.

Good thread. I'm looking at fixing up the old set of 20's I have from my old car for driving around town, but for long drives (for e.g. Brisbane to North QLD) I'm putting a set of nice tyres on the standard rims, maybe Pirelli P6000's. Now that I know there's no worthy difference between stockos and "pursuit" rims, I'll just stick em on the stockos.
